The Battleship IOWA crew comes from a variety of backgrounds including maritime, military, business, attraction, non-profit, technology, hospitality, construction, and other trades.  Through the unique melding of these skills, the crew has become a dynamic and efficient team that works to provide our guests an authentic American experience.  We celebrate the American Spirit daily by bringing the Battleship IOWA alive for guests of all ages to enjoy.  The experience begins with a vision and mission - one that was developed by everyday American patriots.  The IOWA crew looks forward to welcoming you onboard as a guest for the day or a potential new crew member in the future.

Non Profit

Pacific Battleship Center is a registered 501(c) (3) non-profit organization and receives no funding from the City or County of Los Angeles, the State of California, of the federal government.  The State of Iowa is instrumental in the preservation of the Battleship Iowa and telling its story and provided $3,000,000 to the startup operation of the Pacific Battleship Center.  We rely on admissions, memberships, and donations from corporations and individual donors.  Donations and sponsorships go towards the start-up and expansion of a variety of programs including education, museum, tours, and long-term preservation & restoration.

The Pacific Battleship Center participates in employer match programs. The Pacific Battleship Center is a public charity organized under IRS code 501(c)3 and donations to the organization are tax deductable. The Pacific Battleship Center IRS registration number for tax deductable purposes is 26-3934742.
