If you live in San Pedro or Wilmington, this is your weekend to explore Battleship IOWA (aka The Big Stick)! Bring the family out for a free tour, meet our crew, and discover all your battleship has to offer.

From our youth education programs (Day of Discovery, STEAM at Sea, Camp Battleship) to interactive exhibits, special events, and volunteer opportunities, this is your weekend to discover an amazing resource in your backyard.

Extended Experience Tour tickets and free ship admission on two days only: Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12 from 10:00am – 5:00pm (last tour is at 4:00pm).

Residents with select zip codes are invited to come aboard to experience a free self-guided tour and the Extended IOWA Experience which includes the newly opened Third Deck attractions, featuring “Lost at Sea: The Explorations of Dr. Robert Ballard,” plus the ART Gallery, Laundry, Tailor Shop and Barber Shop.

Eligible zip codes are: 90731, 90732, 90733, 90734, 90744, and 90748.  Residents will need to present a valid ID to the ticket booth to redeem the free Extended Experience Tour tickets.  All local active military will also receive free admission.
