Visit the Museum

Visit the Museum:

Battleship USS Iowa served our country proudly in WWIIKorea, and the Cold War.  Today, the historic U.S. Navy ship is an iconic Los Angeles landmark and considered one of the region’s best outdoor museums for families and visitors of all ages.  Follow in the footsteps of sailors and our mischievous mascot Vicky the Dog and experience first hand why she is known as the “Battleship of Presidents”“The Grey Ghost”, and “The Big Stick”.  Add-on a behind-the-scenes guided tour to explore areas off-limits to the public and hear first hand accounts of service, commitment, and bravery.  You and your family will make lasting memories during your visit to the Battleship USS Iowa.

You are able to enjoy the museum with both virtual and in-person tour options.  The in-person options comply with current health department guidelines for Covid-19.

The in-person experience is open daily and includes both guided and self-guided outdoor and indoor tour options which comply with current health department guidelines for Covid-19.

The online experience is available 24-hours per day and provides you a virtual experience that parallels the in-person experience.  The only thing missing is the live crew stories, smells, and sounds aboard ship!

Your visit and/or donation supports educationveterans, and community programs at Battleship USS Iowa Museum – a 501c3 non-profit organization.  Open daily for museum tours from 10am to 4pm.  Overnight programsevent rentals, and filming available daily.
