Volunteer Crew Orientation

January 20 @ 9:30 am - 1:30 pm

Battleship IOWA’s volunteers are the heart and soul of her crew. We work hard and have tons of fun. Sound like you? Come join us!
We hold orientation meetings on the third (3rd) Saturday of every month except December. You can volunteer as an individual, a group, or a family. There are opportunities in every aspect of our operations: from leading tours to painting the hull and almost anything you can imagine – if you’ve got a skill or passion, we’ve probably got a place for it.

Fill out our volunteer application and a representative of our volunteer department will contact you. Please click the button below to get started!

Questions? Please email our volunteer department or call 877.446.9261. See you aboard Battleship IOWA!

Volunteers bring Battleship IOWA and the National Museum of the Surface Navy to life and become a part of a family and community.  Volunteers range in age from teenagers to centenarians, are civilians and veterans, and come from all walks of life.  Learn more today by filling out an application.

Tasks and jobs available include administrative, operations, security, tour guides, fundraising, ambassadors, and everything in between. Become part of something special, as we forge the path to the museum of the future in support of our nation and communities.
