Bridge Coat with Black Commander's Stripes on Sleeves.
Stripes are black woven ribbon.
On the front, 8 cast buttons have the design of an eagle perched on an anchor, surrounded by stars.
Date is approximate. Owner Arthur Rudolph Ponto was a US Navy Commander during 1940 - 1944.

Coat has a turned down collar with a chain across the inside back of the collar, two outside pockets, two inside pockets, and a belt across the back with two cast buttons carrying the same design as those on the front. The shoulders have straps for shoulder boards.
