Chaplain's Communion Set Container with Outer and Inner Lids
Object/Artifact
Container (Pyx) for the Host. Includes outer, domed lid, and inner, flat lid with small handle. Part of chaplain's communion kit, which includes other items. Engraved with "U.S.N." on the side. Piece appears to be polished and lacquered drawn and tooled brass, though the Deed of Gift form states it is gold plated.
