Aircraft Carrier Identification Models
Object/Artifact
Identification models of aircraft carriers in 1:500 scale, painted dark grey. Identification ship models were fabricated by Framburg, South Salem and Comet. Models may have some cast metal parts and some wooden parts. The ships are:
1 USS Card, CVE-11, Escort Carrier, USN (Bogue Class)
1 USS Independence, CVL-22, Light Aircraft Carrier, USN (Independence Class)
