Working Together for Los Angeles
Each year, the Leadership Summit focuses on an issue that Los Angeles cannot address through a single organization or sector.
Past programs have examined cybersecurity, maritime commerce, disaster readiness, workforce development, and preparation for major events such as the FIFA World Cup and LA28.
The format varies by subject, but typically includes senior-leader discussions, focused working sessions, and time for participants to meet before they need to work together in the real world.
Who attends
Invited participants generally include senior and executive leaders from:
- Local, state, and federal government
- The U.S. military
- Law enforcement, fire, emergency management, and first-response agencies
- The ports and maritime industry
- Business and infrastructure organizations
- Schools, universities, workforce programs, and community organizations
Participation is curated around the year’s topic. The Summit is not a public Fleet Week attraction.
