The 1st Annual USS IOWA Museum Exhibition & Color Guard Drill Meet is a JROTC competition hosted aboard and alongside the Battleship IOWA on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to noon. Open to JROTC units from all services, cadets will compete in Color Guard, Unarmed Exhibition Drill, and Armed Exhibition Drill, with awards presented for individual events and overall performance.

In the all-new Life of a Sailor experience, kids become sailor recruits, building their skills, following the story of a famous sailor, and joining Vicky the Dog on a scavenger hunt through Battleship IOWA.
