Camp Battleship youth overnight program

Open to all youth groups, our overnight Camp Battleship Program is a fun memorable experience aboard Battleship IOWA. The evening adventure includes a tour, dinner on the mess decks, flag ceremony, sleeping in real sailor bunks, and breakfast in the morning.

Program is suitable for all ages and groups including Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, YMCA Adventure Guides, Young Marines, Sea Cadets, JROTC groups, church groups, and many others.

Join Battleship IOWA Museum for an exciting night of fun with Camp Battleship.  This popular youth overnight program is open year-round aboard Battleship IOWA Museum and includes a STEAM oriented tour, chow on the mess decks, evening entertainment, and much more.  Above all, participants will create life-long memories aboard Los Angeles’s historic naval ship.

Camp Battleship can accommodate groups of all sizes up to 200 per evening.  Past participants include scouts, adventure guides, churches, JROTC, military groups, school programs, and even groups sailing to Catalina for overnight excursions.

Campers will have a fun, memorable, and educational experience!

Participation in a full schedule of tours & activities

Overnight accomodations on the ship sleeping in a berth in the enlisted crew quarters

Inside information on the ship’s history, including her life at sea

Participation in a full schedule of tours and activitivies

Experience meals in the Enlisted Mess Deck
