Description U S Navy World War II Era hammock folded around what appears to be a canvas bag with bedding materials (pillow and sheets) inside. Hammock has been carefully tied closed with heavy hemp or sisal rope, and was not opened for fear of damaging it or not being able to re-tie it properly. A word and a number are stenciled on the top of the hammock, but are illegible.
