The last two weeks have seen record-breaking tidal surges and waves in SoCal. They’ve had an affect on Battleship IOWA – so much so that we had to call our wonderful neighbors at Crowley Corporation to hold us against our dock while we adjusted our mooring lines.

Our team did a ton of work to take up on eight of our thirteen dock lines and all departments jumped in to help Ops. By the end of the morning, they were working in heavy rain – a real mariner’s day. Bravo Zulu to all!
