U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will welcome 50 new U.S. citizens during two special ceremonies aboard the Battleship USS Iowa Museum on Thursday at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
A special keynote will be provided by California Senator Alex Padilla and USCIS Chief Counsel A. Ashley Tabaddor.
The soon-to-be new U.S. citizens hail from the following 25 countries: Argentina, Armenia, Belize, Brazil, Canada, China, El Salvador, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Honduras, Italy, Israel, Iran, Mexico, Nigeria, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Saint Lucia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam and Venezuela.
