Hard to believe ten weeks have passed since we started our GoFundMe campaign. We really don’t have the words to express our gratitude for the support you’ve shown us!

We know many of you have been hit by COVID-19 just as we have, yet you’ve helped us get halfway to our goal of $50,000. Some of you donated online and some of you sent checks – every dollar means the ship we love can keep her decks open in spite of the crushing affect of this pandemic.

On this last day of the campaign, Vice President of Development Joleen Deatherage, Accounting Manager Nui Valletta, and Event/Social Media Coordinator Marann Fengler share their thanks.

Battleship IOWA Museum is a family and an extraordinary team. To lose members of our team has been heartbreaking. The monies raised through this campaign will be used to support daily operations of the vessel and critical areas of maintenance required to keep the ship – literally – afloat, as well as keep the few remaining members of our staff working.
