2021: Reopening Battleship IOWA Without Returning to the Old Normal
Reopening in 2021 was not simply a return to tourism. Pacific Battleship Center rebuilt visitor operations while launching Veterans West, opening Vicky’s Doghouse and the Veterans Resource Center, hosting the first Freedom of the Seas Awards, and continuing major preservation work.
