Dear IOWA and Surface Navy Museum Family,
On December 7th, our President/CEO Jonathan Williams sent out an urgent plea to raise $68,800 to cover some vital costs to operate the museum while we are closed. Some donations have come in by check and as of today we are only $5,000 away from our goal!
Keep in mind that the $68,800 we needed to raise was to cover critical costs until January 13, 2021. Today, an anonymous donor has agreed to match your donation dollar for dollar up to $5,000! This means, we can reach (and exceed our goal) to keep BB-61 afloat through January 13th.
