final numbers are in

Last week we shared one final match to close out our HULL PRESERVATION Campaign. And you did it – you won it!

In addition to that last match from Rich Abele, we have one final pledge of $1,000 on the way. That brings our grand total for the campaign $72,515!

Your commitment, dedication, and generosity never cease to amaze us. We are so grateful for you and for all you do for the ship. Thank you from the bottoms of our hearts for helping us preserve Battleship IOWA so she can continue to serve YOU!

We may have officially closed this year’s campaign, but hull preservation is an on-going process. It won’t ever stop, and you’re always welcome to donate toward it. Click here and earmark your gift for hull preservation.

events are back!

We’re keeping an eye on all the latest Covid guidelines, but we are once again hosting events aboard Battleship IOWA.

This week we held a moving memorial on the fantail for about forty guests with distanced outdoor seating.

Congratulations class of 2021

Being part of the Port of Los Angeles (POLA) community means we get to be involved in cool events like this one. POLA High School Class of 2021 graduated with Battleship IOWA as its backdrop this week.

Congratulations, graduates. We wish you all the best.
