LA Fleet Week is Southern California’s largest FREE Memorial Day Weekend celebration, honoring the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and all sea services. Enjoy a full week of public engagement with demonstrations, ship tours, aircraft flyovers, and community activities
Dates: Tuesday, May 19 – Monday, May 25, 2026 (Neighborhood activations begin May 19; Expo & ship tours run May 22–25)
Location: Port of Los Angeles, San Pedro, CA — centered around the Battleship IOWA & surrounding waterfront

Active Duty Ship Tours & Exhibits (May 22–25): Tour real Navy, Coast Guard, and Marine vessels including guided-tours aboard active-duty ships.

Main EXPO (Daily, 10 am–6 pm): Free displays, live demos, military equipment, family activities (dodgeball, Galley Wars, Military Has Talent), and military band music.

Galley Wars Culinary Cook-off: Branches compete aboard the Battleship IOWA for top honors.

Military Has Talent: Four-day competition showcasing the diverse skills of service members

Aircraft Flyovers & Demonstrations: US and local military aircraft over Cabrillo Beach, Long Beach, and USS Iowa; additional security & rescue flyovers over Green Hills Memorial on Monday.
