Steel Beach Barbecue for Father’s Day
A “steel beach barbecue” is a Navy tradition in which a ship holds a casual cookout on the deck (the “steel beach”) of a ship while underway. It’s a welcome break from shipboard duties that includes burgers, dogs, and sometimes beers.
This Father’s Day – Sunday, June 21, celebrate Dad with a one-of-a-kind experience aboard a historic U.S. Navy battleship. Enjoy classic BBQ, waterfront views, and interactive exploration for an unforgettable day.
