Battleship IOWA possesses and displays incredible history, fosters creativity and curiosity, and empowers her crew to be leaders. The ship represents 250 years of a continuing legacy, and Pacific Battleship Center aims to support shipboard artifacts, programs, and experiences to create an atmosphere unlike any other.
The battleship also provides opportunity for numerous special and unexpected projects to come to life. Projects like refurbishing the bos’n’s chair that lifted President Franklin Delano Roosevelt onboard, replacing weathered gun bucklers or purchasing mooring lines that keep the ship tied to the pier greatly impact our guests’ experiences and ensure that IOWA will be around to inspire us all for years to come.
